Why we build Orchard

There's a persistent gap between what people say they'll do and what they actually do. For decades, the research industry was simply forced to accept that. We couldn’t any longer.

Orchard was built on the conviction that better data comes from observing real behavior in real environments. Not from asking people to predict themselves.

The consumer market has fundamentally changed. The way people discover, evaluate, and decide has evolved faster than most brands can keep up with, and the research methods they're still relying on were built for a world that no longer exists. Panels, surveys, and controlled environments can only tell you so much. They can't capture the speed, the noise, or the complexity of how real purchase decisions actually get made.

We built Orchard to change that. To bring market research into the environments where consumers actually live, and give brands the kind of behavioral clarity that dated methods simply can't offer.
